Very interesting route because it is a further demonstration of the various needs before the arrival of the cars: today, to reach an elevation of 195 (Fersinone valley) from an elevation of 295 (Borgo di Poggio) you go along a winding and long road, while until 100 years ago it was much shorter, following the path described below.
Just near the entrance to the ancient village of Poggio, on the left (to the North) there is a narrow downhill road. Following it, you will soon reach Podere Foiano, and then Podere Terre Molino until you reach the stream and, skirting it, you will reach the road that connects Marsciano with Morcella, Migliano and Poggio Aquilone.
